About Us

Lou Bufano and Associates is owned and operated by Louis J. Bufano who has been serving clients in the Chicagoland area since 1979. Lou is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and a Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) graduate. He is a proud member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Lou is a Past President of the NAIFA Chicago Southland Local Chapter and is currently a Director of NAIFA Illinois.

The mission of Lou Bufano & Associates is to add value and build long term relationships with our Clients. We will accomplish this by understanding our Clients unique situations, educate them as to the particular needs and bring them security and financial stability.

We do not disclose or sell any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers except as permitted by law.

Customer information will only be disclosed to those authorized customers, and only after the identification of that customer has been verified. Agency employees will not share personal or financial customer information with non-affiliated third parties except when legally required or when legally permitted to serve the customer's interest.

We do not allow the companies we are contracted with to use our customer information for their own marketing purposes.

The Agency will share certain customer information with our contracted companies as necessary to permit the customer to qualify for the applied for product.
